What is a PiggyBack Forklift? 

A piggyback is a truck or trailer-mounted forklift that can attach to virtually any truck or trailer. The piggyback is capable of lifting heavy loads and moving at fast speeds with an all-wheel drive.  

The term piggyback refers to the fact that the lift is mounted to a truck or trailer that provides the driving force. The piggyback is mounted using an “EZ hitch” system, where hooks are used to mount the lift to anchored pins in the back of the truck or trailer.  

What is a truck-mounted forklift? 

Like a piggyback, a truck-mounted forklift is a lift that has been safely and securely mounted to a truck for easy transportation. 

How long will my piggyback last? 

A standard piggyback will last between 10,000 and 12,000 work hours. However, with proper care and handling, your piggyback can extend its lifespan for years. Proper maintenance, driver training, and regular inspection will help ensure that your piggyback stays in working condition for as long as possible. 

How often does my piggyback need maintenance?
